Genesis Committee Meeting Minutes

Agenda Items

1. Online v Offline Activities

Zoom meetings to continue (they seem popular with attendees). Stick to a US-friendly timetable. When able, begin physical pub meets monthly to be offset by 2 weeks with the online meeting (effectively 2 events per month, 2 weeks apart). Timings / details to be considered nearer the time as things fare from settled.

Possibility raised of a Quarterly meeting / meal / Quiz night in the future.

2. Membership Drive

More people required to keep things lively.

Mike requested that we get all group members to "invite friends" via social media, but do this gradually so as to keep things stable.

3. Finances

Matt gave a finance update on the web hosting costs that were outlined at the AGM:

• Web Hosting: £64.74 (inc. VAT) due on 25^th July, 2021, for 1 year
• DNS Rental (genesis-sf-org.uk): £29.99 (inc. VAT) due on 20^th September, 2022, for 2 years

£1 per month fee to be introduced per member, to cover ongoing costs. With a 'first 3 months free' policy.

4. Web Hosting

:ACTION:Matt and Craig: Investigate possibilities and costings for Web Hosting options.

5. Communication Between Committee Members

:ACTION:Craig: Iinstigate a Teams Group (and ensure everyone can access it).

6. Frequency of Committee Meetings

Meetings to be held every 4 weeks. (Friday evenings)
